Evaluating the effectiveness of SIGMA-MM™ medium in inactivating Mpox virus to support safer specimen transportation and molecular testing. Three lots were tested under four conditions, with no detectable plaques observed in any samples following plaque assay. These findings demonstrate effective Mpox virus inactivation under the conditions tested, supporting the potential of SIGMA-MM™ to reduce biological risks during specimen handling and transportation.
