MICROLOOP® Nichrome Wire Range
MWE’s MICROLOOP® Nichrome Wire Range of inoculating loops have been designed and moulded with precision, to ensure you can rely on them for accurate volumetric technique every time.
MWE’s MICROLOOP® are calibrated, ensure better wetting, have precise moulded smooth edges, are medical devices, and validated to ISO standards. We offer a range of MICROLOOP® and needles.
Accurately sized, twisted Nichrome 5 wire loops, offer all the benefits of platinum, without the costs. These are available in 6 volumetric sizes. Nichrome 5 is the finest for repeated heating. It is made up of 80% Nickel and 20% Chromium. It gives outstanding performance at temperatures up to 1200ºC.
Calibrated Nichrome MICROLOOP® are manufactured with the same precision as Nichrome 5 standard MICROLOOP®. These are calibrated and packed individually. Calibrated loops are individually measured to ensure they meet specification. A calibration certificate is provided.
