MW&E has a long history of manufacturing products for the effective monitoring of environmental and personal hygiene in the food industry. Isolation Transwabs® are self-contained, easy-to-use swab tests for the detection of Listeria, Coliforms and general microbial contamination. QC Plates™ and DipKits® allow a more detailed investigation of contamination levels and sources. Polywipes™ are premoistened sponge swabs for the sampling of larger areas (machinery, work surfaces, yards, carcasses), while Steriswabs™ are premoistened blue-shafted swabs allowing a more precise form of sampling.

NRS™ Transwabs® are our new swab based devices incorporating neutralising rinse solution for the sampling of surfaces previously treated with disinfectant.

Transwabs® and Dryswabs™ can also be used for many sampling applications in the food and beverage industries.
